Upcoming Fund Raising Events for

Guardian Angels Bird Sanctuary

Our next event is our Easter Fayre at Greasley Sports & Community Centre on Dovecote Road, Newthorpe NG16 3QN on Sunday 13th April 2025. It will run from 10am until 3pm.

We will have a tombola stall, "Hook-a-Duck", "Play Your Cards Right" and a raffle. There'll be bacon cobs, burgers, sausage cobs, jacket potatoes, hot and cold drinks and a large selection of homemade cakes. With it being an Easter event it means we'll have our extra special "Roll the Ball" tournament with some cracking prizes (TBC) for finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. If you score 56 or more you will have won an instant prize, an Easter Egg. You'll win a bigger Easter Egg if you score between 61 and 65 and a large one if you score 66 or more. 

There will also be around 25 different stalls, all selling a wide range of goods, so there'll be lots to see and do for the whole family.

It will be our first event of the year and hopefully a hugely successful one.

The raffle prizes have been sorted. This lovely hamper is 1st prize, 2nd prize is a 2-night stay for 2 at The Old Poet's Corner in Ashover on the edge of the Peak District (dogs welcome) and 3rd prize is a £10 voucher to be used at the brilliant Dinky Dino's Soft Play Centre in Heanor. Tickets are £1 per strip and the winners will be drawn at the fayre around 3pm.
